## About Chet's Shoes

During World War II, Chet Sr. served in the Merchant Marine and worked in a New York shoe store, where he learned quality and fit. In 1947 he opened Chet's Shoes in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, selling family footwear. Snowgear is Chet's own line of winter footwear. It was built in 2008 for railroad crews working on glare ice, to reduce winter slip-and-fall injuries. It has since become a favorite of ice anglers and snowmobilers.
